The inspiration for Granny Vero emerged from a heartfelt desire to honor my mother’s legacy and create lasting memories for her beloved grandchildren, particularly for my young son, who was born after her passing away. My mother had an incredible zest for life, always eager to explore new cuisines and embrace diverse cultures, with a special fondness for Eastern food and traditional attire.

To keep her spirit alive, I have designed these culture night boxes. First, kids will get a starter box. This box holds the passport needed to travel and collect flag stamps country to country. The starter box comes with a world map that kids can color, as they visit each country. Instructions and links to the YouTube channel for the language to be heard and more. Each box following the starter will come with a passport sticker stamp, fun activites, a language card and a unique personal touch where children will receive personalized letters from Granny Vero’s persona. These letters will share the rich traditions of food ( don’t forget the fun recipe card included) and clothing from various countries, fostering a sense of connection to her fashionable chef like spirit.
